Magpie art card. Magpie art print on a card, created from artwork hand-drawn in watercolour pencils by myself in July 2017. This magpie is part of my native British Garden Birds collection recreating the colours and characters of wild and song birds that visit our gardens here in the UK.
Watercolour pencils are special water soluble colouring pencils. With these I can literally paint with pencils, blending the vibrancy of a painting with the intricacy of fine pencil lines.
